Metahaven: VERSION HISTORY

Metahaven collective of filmmakers, artists and designers has at ICA | Institute of Contemporary Arts in London its first solo exhibition in a major UK cultural institution, titled VERSION HISTORY. The show features three new moving-image commissions by the artists, which follow in their research into overlapping geopolitical, technological, and emotional conditions.

The movies, obtained using a mix of cinematic images and graphic, and titled “Eurasia (Questions on Happiness)” (2018), “Hometown” (2018) and “Information Skies” (2016) are presented in dialogue with other installations of ICA. As the general title of the show suggests, they all intend to reflect upon the differences  between reality and historic versions of it.
