Mimmo Rotella and Giorgio Marconi: A History of Art and Friendship

Via Tadino 15, Milan, Italy

Taking place just after a few years Fondazione Marconi’s last show dedicated to Rotella, this new exhibit is part of the series “Mimmo Rotella 2016”. The project, which begins in September and spans throughout Milan, is an homage that coincides with the tenth anniversary of Mimmo Rotella’s death (Catanzaro 1918 – Milan 2006).

Promoted by the Mimmo Rotella Institute, the 2016 initiative highlights and valorises the artist’s multifaceted work which, in addition to the famous décollages and retro d’affiches, comprises a series of less known experimental works.
