Nairy Baghramian

This is the first solo show by the Iranian artist in France.
For the occasion of the exhibition Nairy Baghramian is showcasing “Maintainers”, a new series in which large castings made of cast aluminum are associated with blocks monolithic in colored wax. This title refers in particular to assembly method obtained by adding lacquer intermediate pieces varnished. These elements form a complex set within which relationships are organized interdependence, opposition and resonance.
