Neither A Shouting Match Nor A Polite Droning

Andakulova Gallery presents “Neither A Shouting Match Nor A Polite Droning”, its first all-female group exhibition featuring different art productions by female artists from Central Asia. Taking its title from the article “Reflections” by Jane Farver, the exhibition brings together five female artists at different stages of their career, characterized by different art processes but compared by the common purpose to face and to react against the established and cultural traditions: Saule Suleimenova, GABO, Suinbike Suleimenova, Rimma Gagloeva and Bakhyt Bubicanova.
