The Kupferstichkabinett art collection is in constant growth, many of the recent acquisitions have not yet been displayed to the public. The exhibition “Neu Im Kupferstichkabinett” provides the chance to discover some of the new entries to the collection. The graphic cabinet revolves around a drawing by Maria Lassnig, donated to the museum, which creates a dialogue with the Art Informel works from the collection. The second cabinet is dedicated to Basel based artists recently included in the collection, with works by Gustava Iselin-Haeger, Karl Dick, Rudolf Maeglin, Carlo King and Andreas His, in relation to older pieces.
