“Art With a View” presents Paola Pivi’s diverse and enigmatic practice. Her art is defined by ambitious and spectacular acts, which deliver unexpected and at the same time familiar scenarios, expressing freedom. Each work poses questions, remaining open to new interpretations. She appropriates cultural symbols and transforms them for the context of art. Among the selected works, some of her iconic pieces such as Pivi’s anthropomorphic feather-covered polar bears, canvases of cascading pearls, video showing fish in flight on a passenger jet and a 65-foot inflatable ladder.
