Paulo Nazareth

The young Brazilian artist (1977) has already participated to the biennials of Venice and Lyon, and was exhibited in the Oslo Museum of Art. Gallery Mendes Wooddedicates to the artist who is famous for having travelled from South America to North America in a wandering perfomance that ended at Art Basel Miami Beach, a solo show during the Bienal.

Nazareth is a wandering performer who brings racial, national and transnational questions up, challenging political and social barriers with both personal engagement and human generosity.
