Peter Halley: Heterotopia I

The Academy of Fine Arts of Venice and Flash Art present “Heterotopia I“. Halley translates Heterotopia into an immersive environment, from and to the “many places” of the artist, with rooms that follow one another, are transformed, chase each other, into mental aesthetic conduits. The nave of the Magazzini del Sale is occupied by a long tunnel of 40 meters.  Heterotopia I is a great installation for the New York artist and theorist who conceptualized the NeoGeo, the neo geometric conceptualism, creating one of the most influential theoretical movements of the last years.
