The show unveils mostly unseen works created by Basbaum between 1981 and 1996 and addresses the themes discussed in the artist’s text “Pintura dos anos 80: algumas observações críticas”.
“Cut-Contact-Contamination” gives a close up on a specific period of Basbaum’s work and investigates the historical narratives of that period.
