The artist, well known for his written works, exhibits at Proyectos Monclova a survey of fifty years of art production that explores the space between concept and painting, ultimately aiming to lead the visitor into a moment of spacial and intrapersonal profundity. The pieces from different media, such as performance documentation, calligraphy, drawing and collage, tap into a longing for spirituality often hidden by the present day distraction. Inspired by western and eastern traditions, Morgan’s work suggests that dualistic forces are complementary aspects of the same thing.
