Swatch Faces 2015

Arsenale; Giardini, La Biennale di Venezia - Giardini, Sestiere Castello

A strong supporter of contemporary art and artists for more than 30 years, Swatch is delighted to partner with the 56th International Art Exhibition of la Biennale di Venezia. Swatch Faces 2015: the brand establishes a significant presence at both the Giardini and Arsenale venues of la Biennale Arte 2015.

Pavilion at Arsenale

At the Arsenale Swatch presents an extensive exhibition, “Art from the World”, highlighting the company’s creative collaboration with contemporary artists:  from May 9 through the end of summer, Swatch presents new work and a Swatch Art Limited Edition by Eva & Adele in a dedicated gallery. In autumn, the same space will feature the work of Dutch artist Sigrid Calon.

“Art from the World” also presents a broad sampling of work from The Swatch Art Peace Hotel. Visitors are introduced to current and former artists-inresidence, whose portraits are displayed along with representative examples of their art. There’s a unique possibility for a close-up, personal, and above all “live” look at the creative process as artists from The Swatch Art Peace Hotel engage in making art in a studio set up within this exhibition. The visitor’s experience is further enhanced by sound art, videos and a projection wall.

Pavilion at Giardini

At GiardiniSwatch presents a very special exhibit created by one of the best contemporary artists, Joana Vasconcelos, renowned for her extraordinarily engaging installations.

Swatch has created a special watch featuring the graphic identity of la Biennale Arte 2015. Celebrating Swatch Faces 2015 and the brand’s commitment to supporting art and artists at la Biennale Arte, All the World’s Futures will be available for purchase onsite at la Biennale Arte 2015 and in selected Swatch stores from May 2015.
