Syria: Into the Light

The Atassi Foundation will be opening their largest exhibition to date, and their first in the MENASA region since they were founded last year.

The exhibition, titled ‘Syria: Into the Light’ will mark the inauguration of Alserkal Avenue’s most exciting project to date; Concrete. Curated by founder of the Atassi Foundation, Mouna Atassi, In collaboration with writer and curator Rasha Salti, the theme of the show will be inspired by ‘Portraits and figures’ showcasing 60 works displayed by over 40 artists, portraying the landscape of Syrian Art from 1924 – 2016.

From Sculptures to abstract paintings, the Atassi Foundation’s exhibition, coming to Alserkal Avenue on 9 March, will be a true display of the struggles and triumphs of Syrian history.
