Tra[dic(t)ion]

Tra[dic(t)ion] by Fernanda Barreto (Brasil) and Ricardo Cárdenas (Mexico) is an artistic research on the figure of public writers or scribes. Organised by Casa Vecina, the work takes place in the Santo Domingo Plaza, in downtown Mexico City. Collaborations are planned as a series of writing exercises (transcription, translation, document reconfiguration, etc.), with the purpose of exploring language as a meeting grounds, a space of community that belongs to us all.
