Urs Fischer: The Kiss

Taking inspiration from Auguste Rodin’s “The Kiss“, Urs Fischer is showcasing  a large-scale replica of the sculpture at Sadie Coles. The famous image is also transposed into four new paintings, where the artist used classic movie stills as formulae manipulated, disrupted and redeployed.

Urs Fischer, born in Switzerland in 1973, lives in New York.
