Videogames: Design/ Play/ Disrupt

The exhibition explores the world of videogames, showing how contemporary designers and professional of the field are creating radically new products. The show explores the process which brings to the creation of a game, featuring as well elements from intermediate phases of the process or sketches, notes and objects used as sources of inspiration. Examples of popular videogames are presented alongside immersive multimedia and interactive installations and investigations of the social and political issues in the field offering an insight into the design process, community and culture related to the field.

Videogames: Design/ Play/ Disrupt explores videogames design history, since the 2000s on, when major technological progresses transformed the way games are designed, discussed and played.
