Vikram Divecha: Minor Work
Gallery Isabelle van den Eynde presents “Minor Work”, a solo exhibition by the artist Vikram Divecha. The exhibition displays a number of Divecha’s new series related to some of the past scaled and public sited projects the artist developed in collaboration with a variety of institutions, infrastructures, and communities: investigating on pre-existing systems of urban life, the artist creates interventions and installations that disrupt the status quo, bringing their otherwise invisible structures and operations into plain view. The exhibition’s title, “Minor Work”, takes a cue from the writings of Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari, drawing attention to the frequently overlooked but absolutely vital labour of Divecha’s various collaborators.
