Viola Yeşiltaç

The work of New York based German artist Viola Yeşiltaç (b. 1975) explores the displacements that operate between painting, photography, drawing, sculpture and performance. For her third time in Brazil, the artist is going to show her latest body of works, a combination of B&W photographs and her signature vinil paintings.

Viola Yeşiltaç holds a MA in Photography from the Royal College of Art (London) and a BA from the Braunschweig University of Art.

The artist participated in the São Paulo Biennial in 2012, and various exhibitions, including groups shows at MoMa PS1, Museum Fridericianum in Kassel and the Sculpture Center in New York.
