XVA

A stylish and peaceful boutique hotel, XVA is set within the heart of Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood, the oldest region of Dubai.

Unique for its Persian architectural heritage, its maze-like alleyways and proximity to the Creek, Al Fahidi Neighborhood is viewed today as one of the cultural centre points of Dubai.

XVA Hotel occupies a renovated traditional majilis-style building, boasting original architectural motifs, wind towers and two open courtyards, in which one can relax and soak up the exceptional atmosphere of this heritage space. XVA’s Art Hotelincludes nine boutique bedrooms, designed by well-established designers and artists from the region. These include Zayan Ghandour, Numa, Nada Debs & Karim Rashid (Gaia&Gino). There is also a choice of outdoor and indoor seating areas, including a rooftop terrace with views of the traditional skyline.

From 2003, XVA Gallery has pioneered contemporary Middle Eastern art in Dubai. The gallery works with the hotel to ensure the bedrooms and courtyards are filled with unique artworks and the small indoor gallery space has a rotating schedule of exhibitions from both established and emerging artists.

The hotel also boasts an award winning café, In the short time since XVA has been open it has already been hailed as ‘Dubai’s best kept secret’ and many return to XVA for the food alone. The café serves freshly-prepared vegetarian food including delicious salads, soups and sandwiches. For those with a sweet tooth there is an array of cooling ice creams, plus the legendary refreshing mint lemonade.

Besides an Internationally-acclaimed art gallery and an award-winning vegetarian café, there is also an in-house tailor and a boutique shop that offers a unique range of jewelry, artworks and crafts all inspired from the region’s richness.
