At Caduff’s Wine Loft there is a new menu every day. The products are bought in early in the morning and then the menus are created depending on what’s on offer at the market. “Only while stocks last” is the watchword here. Around twenty dishes are on offer morning and evening – for those who want a little something to eat as well as for those want a half-portion. There are also sixty different types of cheese on the menu, five of the best hams from around the world, dried meat, sausages, salamis and various types of bread.
One of Beat Caduff’s particular passions is wine. He has 2,222 vintages from all over the world on offer. At least 20 of them are each opened to savour for two weeks. In the air-conditioned basement of “Caduff’s Wine Loft” a small section is dedicated to the wine cellar. There, wines that accompany food or wines simply to drink can be selected or ordered to be sent directly to your home. Anyone that simply likes to enjoy an excellent glass of wine pays a visit to the 18-metre long bar located in the heart of the loft.
The atmosphere in the Wine Loft should be relaxed, stylish and buoyant, the service relaxed, friendly and competent. All of this goes under the motto “You arrive as a guest and leave as a friend”.
