Poké Hawaian Taste

Very popular in Italy Poké is only a recent trend in Palermo, although a very old traditional dish born centuries ago in Hawaiian cuisine, based on raw fish prepared in 6 steps. Poke “poh-keh” means “to cut” and all sliced in bit portions
it’s a healty dish of raw, fresh fish tuna or shellfish, marinated and served cold in bowls over rice as deconstructed sushi. Here in Palermo, Poké Hawaian Taste offers fish seasoned with sauces like soy or ponzu sauce, limu (seaweed), and topping such as pistacchio almonds nuts coconuts pomegranate coming from the local Sicilian production.
