Santa Pasta is a small chain of restaurants opened in 2012 by Gabriel Tenger.
There is no menu at lunch, all you need to do is choose meat, vegetarian, or “special” sauce, and point at one of the drinks displayed on the wall. Dinner is slightly more upscale, with all-you-can-eat antipasti and three kinds of freshly cooked pasta. On nice days, the pasta is worth taking away to eat on the steps at the river.
Santa Pasta has also other two places in Basel, at Rheingasse 47 and in Markthalle Basel, at Viaduktstrasse 10.
