Radouan Mriziga
Born in Marrakech, 1985
Radouan Mriziga was born in 1985 in Marrakesh, Morocco. Since movement in the biggest meaning of the word has always been his highest interest, he started taking contemporary dance classes at the age of eighteen. Since 2005 he has been in a continuous collaboration of bodywork with Jacques Garros (Centre Lafaurie Monbadon, Bordeaux) and in 2006 he went to Tunisia to study dance at the CMDC (Mediterranean Center of Contemporary Dance). After this he continued his movement studies in France through different workshops and classes and started his studies at P.A.R.T.S (Performing Arts Research and Training Studios), Brussels, in 2008. He graduated in 2012. Since 2008 he is based Brussels, Belgium and working there as a maker and dancer. He has performed in Half elf zomeravond (Bart Meuleman, Toneelhuis) and Re: Zeitung (Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker) and created and performed in, a piece by José Paulo Dos Santos, Mohamed Toukabri, Radouan Mriziga and Youness Khoukhou. Currently is is working for Claire Croize and Simon Tangy (Action Scenique) for their new dance productions and is I resident artist at Moussem Nomadic Art Centre.
