Serena Vestrucci
Born in Milan, 1986 and lives in Venice
Serena Vestrucci (Milan, 1986; lives and works in Venice) has presented her work in solo exhibitions at Furini Arte Contemporanea gallery in Rome (against Tiger Tiger, 2012) and at the non-profit space in Milan The Crevasse (Things you move into the crevasse at a slow pace as to seem just far-fetched, 2012). She has also participated in several group exhibitions in Italy and abroad, among which: Crevasse Pavilion at yoox.com, Ca ‘Soranzo, Venice, curated by Caroline Corbetta at Varnish 55th Art Biennale; Star players. Twenty years of Italian art in the Alberto Garutti courses, GAM, Milan, curated by Luca Cerizza; Phalanstery, Space Morris, Milan, curated by Guido Molinari and Opera in 2011, the Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa, Venice.
She has participated in residencies in Belgrade (Real Presence, NKA / ICA), Venice (Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa), Bologna (Any Academies, created by Carisbo and Fondazione Furla Foundation, in collaboration with Mambo) and Genoa (After The Future, Genoa Maxter Program 2013).
