Born in 1977 in Putignano, Italy Vincenzo de Bellis is a curator and art critic based in Milan, where he co-founded Peep-Hole in 2009. He’s also the editor of Peep-Hole Sheet, a quarterly of artists’ writings. In 2008 he received an MA in Curatorial Practice at Center For Curatorial Studies, Bard College, Annandale-on-Hudson, New York. From 2004 to 2006 he collaborated with the Curatorial Department of GAMeC, Galleria d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, Bergamo and in 2007 with Museion, Bolzano. Other projects includes Countdown, Hessel Museum of Art and Center For Curatorial Studies, Bard College, Annandale-on-Hudson, New York; Pietro Roccasalva – Z, Park Avenue Armory, New York; Lost and Found City, Storefront for Art and Architecture, New York. He co-produced and co-curated Liberi Tutti and Cine Dreams together with Massimiliano Gioni. His latest curatorial work is a large collective show on Italian art: Ennesima / Umpteenth. An Exhibition of Seven Exhibitions of Italian Art at La Triennale di Milano. He is now the Artistic Director of the MiArt — Milan International Modern and Contemporary Art Fair — since 2012. de Bellis
