Alserkal Avenue Summer Programme: Foretold Now

“Foretold Now” Alserkal Avenue’s summer programme of debate, music and dialogue, starts 27 July and culminates on 14 September.

Curated by by Dubai-based arts writer Kevin Jones, “Foretold Now” includes talks, a reading group, music performances and a debate around the human need to predict the future. Be it food trends or financial forecasting, election results or end-of-the-world scenarios, we seem to be consumed with trying to know what the future holds. “Foretold Now” examines what drives us to predict in the first place.

All events are free and open to the public, RSVP is essential as spaces are limited.
