Art Taipei, organized by Taiwan Art Gallery Association since 1992, is the longest-standing art fair in Asia. Following the success of more than twenty years, Art Taipei 2015 will return with even more ambitious programs from October 30th to November 2nd at Taipei World Trade Center.

As the joint between Northeast and Southeast Asia, Art Taipei offers the best and most up-to-date art of the region by established and emerging galleries. The exciting and insightful programs of the fair allow the participants a step closer to the vivid art scenes.Art Taipei attracts significant art collectors and professionals from around the region every year, and has become a must-visit for many of them for years.

One after another record-breaking commercial success in past editions proved Art Taipei as the essential platform for promoting and trading arts in Asia. Based on rich experiences and established relationships with leading figures in the industry, Art Taipei will present the most rewarding fair experience with unique insights in the 2015 edition.

This year’s Art Taipei, which puts an emphasis on cross-boundary cooperation and inheritance of art, will break the traditional limits of art fair booths in order to craft a multi-media visitor experience through sound, video and space design. Visitors will immerse themselves in the experience of the fair from the moment they step into the hall. Local architecture firm Wooyo, led by partners Hom Liou and Bruce Wang, will design the new concept for the exhibition halls to redefine the concept of traditional arts spaces. To redefine the visual identity of the fair,Art Taipei selected the work by Li Meng-Chieh from Ideal form through a submission process. The innovative design uses a black background and four bold colors, which represent the four main sections of the fair. Additionally, for the 2015 promotion video,Art Taipei has commissioned music from renowned Japanese musician Koji Sakurai, who has written a representative series for Taiwan’s music scene, as well as imagery and videos from Tzu-wei Wang Kang, Director of Taiwan Hinata Cinema Studios.
