Dak’Art 2016 has announced its participating artists

The 12th edition of Dak’Art will take place from 3 May to 2 June 2016. The theme of this edition will be “The city in a blue day”.

The biennial will include 65 artists from all over Africa and will also show case works of the late Moroccan artist Leila Alaoui who was killed in a terrorist attack at the beginning of January in Burkina Faso where she was working on a photography project for Amnesty International.
