My Art Guide Hong Kong is a paper and digital issue dedicated to the art week in Hong Kong during Art Basel, running from March 27th to 31st 2018, also available online and on iOS app.

This edition has been developed thanks to an incredible editorial committee formed by Aric Chen (Lead Curator for Design and Architecture at M+), Caroline Chiu (Art Critic and Collector) and Alexandra Seno (Head of Development at Asia Art Archive).
The committee has been working to select the best and most interesting art spaces and exhibitions in town as well as the coolest restaurants and hotels.

Aric Chen is Lead Curator for Design and Architecture at M+, the new museum of visual culture under construction in Hong Kong’s West Kowloon Cultural District. Previously, he served as Creative Director of Beijing Design Week, helping to oversee the successful launch of that event in 2011 and 2012. Prior to moving to Beijing, Chen was an independent curator, critic, and journalist based in New York, organizing numerous exhibitions and projects internationally. He is the author of Brazil Modern (Monacelli, 2016), and has been a frequent contributor to publications including The New York Times, Metropolis, Architectural Record, and PIN-UP.

Caroline Chiu was born in Hong Kong and returned in 2001 after completing her education in the US. She gained a MA in Visual Arts from New York University in 1993 and worked with major Hong Kong galleries between 1988 and 1996. Since 2005, she has been an art critic and reviewer with RTHK4 radio morning call. She is a collector of Chinese and Hong Kong contemporary art and actively supports and sponsors artists residencies in China and abroad.

Alexandra Seno is an art critic and Head of Development at Asia Art Archive, an independent non-profit focused on education about and research on contemporary art from Asia.
