At Pirelli Hangar Bicocca today the Artistic Director Vicente Todolì presented its exhibition programme for 2019-2020 in the presence of Chairman Marco Tronchetti and the mayor of Milan Giuseppe Sala.
The programme for the next 24 months includes a rich array from 8 different artists with their different backgrounds, nationalities, generations, approaches, mediums and voices.
2019 has in store exhibitions by; Giorgio Andreotta Calò, curated by Roberta Tenconi from February 14th to July 21st, 2019. Sheela Gowda, curated by Nuria Enguita and Lucia Aspesi from April 4th- September 14th, 2019. Daniel Steegmann Mangrané, curated by Lucia Aspesi and Fiammetta Griccioli from September 2019 to January 2020 and Cerith Wyn Evans, curated by Roberta Tenconi and Vincente Todolì from October 2019 to February 2020.
In 2020 on the other hand, we can look forward to exhibitions by Trisha Baga, curated by Lucia Aspesi and Fiammetta Griccioli from February to July. Chen Zhen curated by Vincente Todolì from April to September, Neil Beloufa curated by Roberta Tenconi from September to January 2021 and finally Steve Mcqueen in collaboration with Tate Modern curated by Vincente Todolì and Clara Kim with Fiontàn Moran from October 2020 to February 2021.
As usual Pirelli Hangar Bicocca has presented a diverse and solid programme which raises the bar of contemporary art in Italy.
