Fitzpatrick Gallery is focused on an international program of curated projects in site-specific venues and on-site exhibitions at our primary location in Paris, inaugurated in September 2021 in the Marais gallery district.

Fitzpatrick Gallery builds on the legacy of Freedman Fitzpatrick, founded by Robbie Fitzpatrick and Alex Freedman in 2013 in Los Angeles. The gallery was known for its pioneer spirit, with a focus on staging the first solo shows in the US of European artists. In 2018, the gallery was invited by Le Consortium to takeover programming of 8 rue Saint-Bon, expanding their international presence with a second location, and further cementing their bridge between Los Angeles and Europe. During that time (2018 – 2020), Fitzpatrick co-curated the project space Sundogs with Tenzing Barshee.

The gallery currently represents emerging, mid-career, and established artists from central Europe, North America and South America including: Mathis Altmann, Chino Amobi, Vittorio Brodmann, Louis Eisner, Cooper Jacoby, Matthew Lutz-Kinoy, Jill Mulleady, Raúl de Nieves, Sophie Reinhold, Cédric Rivrain, Sergio Sarri, Lucie Stahl, Stefan Tcherepnin, Hannah Weinberger, and Amelie von Wulffen.

In June 2022 the gallery co-founded the Basel Social Club, inviting over 30 galleries to take part in a new hybrid model at a 1930’s villa in Basel’s Bruderholz neighborhood. Drawing inspiration from time-honored institutions, the Basel Social Club provided a space for professional exchange and conversation within a curated exhibition, with artworks for sale provided by member galleries.

Freedman Fitzpatrick previously organized the alternative fair, Paramount Ranch, inviting galleries to participate in a week-long festival which took place for three iterations (2014, 2015, 2016) at a Western Town film set in the Santa Monica Mountains near Malibu.
