Teatro Continuo Burri

Viale Enrico Ibsen, Parco Sempione

After 25 years on the occasion of the centenary of its designer Alberto Burri, this unusual open-air stage reopen located in Sempione Park between the Arch of Peace and the Sforzesco Castle.

The construction was demolished in 1989 and rebuilt in 2015.

The Teatro Continuo looks like a stage structure reduced to the essentials, consisting of a platform raised off the ground and six rotating side scenes painted white on one side and black on the other.
