Arnulf Rainer: Towards Overpaintings

Sharjah Art Foundation presents the Arnulf Rainer‘s exhibition “Towards Overpaintings“, curated by Sharjah Art Foundation Director Hoor Al Qasimi.

This retrospective exhibition highlights early works by self-taught Austrian artist Arnulf Rainer. A selection of his early sculptures, paintings, videos and archival documentation will be shown for the first time. The exhibition will include selected works from the Blind Paintings and Overpainting series as well as sculptures, archival documents and videos.
