Distant Prospects – European Landscape Paintings from Liechtenstein. The Princely Collections

Hosted in Gallery S at Manarat Al Saadiyat, Abu Dhabi, the exhibition is part of the Abu Dhabi Festival 2019. “Distant Prospects – European Landscape Paintings from Liechtenstein. The Princely Collections” explores the history of landscape painting over the course of several centuries, featuring prominent artistic figures of the Late Renaissance and Baroque period, such as Lucas Cranach the Elder, Joos de Momper, Jan Brueghel the Younger and Peter Paul Rubens, among many others.
The exhibition includes works loaned by  the world renowned Princely Collections of Liechtenstein, including permanent loans from The Hohenbuchau Collection and other private collections, exhibited here in the Middle East for the first time.
