Test Bed ’71

This exhibition, will showcase the space’s collection since its inauguration in 2015, and will survey the variety of experiment-driven approaches and thinking processes by designers throughout the different exhibitions held since 2015.

The installation process, often private and precedent to the exhibition opening, will become a public event on its own to engage audiences with the process of building an exhibition.

The exhibition will showcase a collection from all the exhibitions that have been presented at 1971, including: Zero, Garden After, DE.FASH.STRUCTION., and Once Upon Design. The collection has a variety of design disciplines including architecture, furniture, product design & graphic design.
