Showcase Gallery presents “Ukama: A Group Exhibition of Shona Sculptures”. The show revolves around the Shona tribe of Zimbabwe, which epistemological root of the word is “house of stone” according to the long tradition of stone masonry in the country: the artists believe in a connection between themselves and the stone.
