A Batalha do Corpo

The exhibition a Batalha do Corpo at Centro Cultural São Paulo presents works by Juliana Curi and Maria Eugenia Cordero.
With the exhibition the artists aim to produce an aesthetic experience that would inform, renew, create and suggest new ways of thinking about the issue of HIV/AIDS, both in terms of individual experience, as well as bigger social groups. The installation is a result of four meetings that took place in Ateliê 1120 with more than 30 employees, all of them in one or other way related to the HIV virus, that give rise to the possibilities of creating diversity of art that resulted from conversations and reflections on what is and what it means to live with HIV today.
