Hallstatt

Galpão Fortes D’Aloia & Gabriel  presents “Hallstatt”, a group exhibition in which the notion of duality as the starting point for a reflection on the meaning of repetition of signs, images and forms in the contemporary context. The exhibition brings together works by twelve artists whose practice deal with duality by means of distinct strategies. The exhibition takes name from a picturesque village in Austria which has the oldest salt mine in the world: what does it have to do with duality? an identical copy of Hallstatt has been made in the Guangdong Province of China.
