The exhibition features the project by Stanislav Kolíbal, pioneer of Czech avant-garde art. The artist presents a site-specific project which combines two works:  the outside “spatial drawing” dialogues with the architecture of the Czech and Slovak Pavilion, conceived by Otakar Novotný. Inside the building a new “wall drawing” draws elements from all the stages of his artistic career. On view also two of Kolíbal’s early pioneering series: white sculptures from the 1960s and four wall-installations from the 1970s made of found materials.
