Tabula Rasa is organised by Galleria X3. Through his photography, Ezio Ferreri examines the aftermath of the economic boom of the 1960s and 1970s, with the emigration of hundreds of thousands of workers, whose dream was to put aside a little money towards building houses for their families back home in the south. This led to a proliferation of new buildings, often of an illegal nature, which started to spring up as the money slowly rolled in. Most of these were never completed: concrete structures with black holes for windows that had never been shut, absorbing the sweat from countless generations of workers.
