Basel Museums Night 2016

Once again you can explore Basel’s museums and their special Museums Night events during an 8 hour night-expedition.

The program includes about 200 different events: workshops, performances, readings, film presentations and much more. Each institutions provides culinary delicacies from all over the world. More than forty museums and cultural institutions in the Basel region offer a broad mix of art and culture, in dialogue with literature, music, film and theatre, promising a varied night of discovery and new experiences. The museums are open from 6 pm to 2 o´clock in the morning.

Once the lights have gone out in the museums at the end of the evening, the After Parties really start to get going. A wide range of different sounds await night owls eager to dance in the BKB-Lounge (10 p.m. to 2 a.m.) and in the clubs (from 2 a.m. onwards).
