Book Launch: MASP: Structure, Proportion, Form

Editora da Cidade, from the Escola da Cidade – Architecture and Urbanism University, and the Museu da Casa Brasileira promote the launching of the book MASP: Estrutura, Proporção e Forma [Structure, Proportion and Form], by architect Alexandra Silva Cárdenas. The publication deepens the analysis of the iconic project by Lina Bo Bardi for Masp, designed in the late 1950s and inaugurated in 1968, with new technical drawings, photographs and electronic models, emphasizing the structural project by engineer Figueiredo Ferraz.

The book was developed under the coordination of professors Anderson Freitas, Fabio Valentim and José Paulo Gouvêa, from the Escola da Cidade, with architects Marcelo Suzuki and Marcelo Ferraz, and engineer Roberto Rochlitz. During the book launch, the technical crew of the book will be present for a round table.
