On the occasion of Art Week and Design Week 2019, and in collaboration with Gluck50, the National Museum of Science and Technology Leonardo da Vinci is organising two meetings, curated by Maurizio Bortolotti, with two contemporary international artists, in the year of the 500th anniversary of the death of Leonardo da Vinci.
The first appointment is on Thursday, 4 April with Huang Yong Ping, an artist who is part of the “heroic generation” of the first wave of Chinese artists migrated to the West in the 1980s. The meeting is held in dialogue with the MAXXI’s artistic director, Hou Hanru.
The second meeting, on Tuesday, 9 April, features Danish artist Olafur Eliasson.
