Pelagica Takeover and Benefit

“Stand By Me” is a collective exhibition of 40 small-scale works by emerging artists, in the spaces of the Pelagica non-profit gallery which will be transformed  into an imaginary exhibition stand, self-managed by artists and curators themselves. Starting from the paradox of the participation of an independent space at a contemporary art fair, “Stand By Me” ironizes on the marginal presence of independent spaces in the great events of the art system, and on the abundance of events and exhibitions present in these moments in the cities.
