The Al Fahidi Festival

This February the Al Fahidi Neighbours are collaborating to showcase the gem that is The Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood to all who are interested in the Heritage, Art and Culture of the UAE. Originally one of the main residential areas of Dubai’s bustling creek community with many a tale to tell, “The Neighbourhood” has been beautifully restored and now houses small museums, cafes, art galleries, artisan’s studios and heritage shops. Its proximity to the Creek and Souks make a visit a most rewarding experience.

During the Al Fahidi Festival, XVA Gallery will open Āyah, a solo exhibition by Saudi Arabian artist Hussein Al-Mohasen. Al-Mohasen is known for his colourful graffiti style works that use visual art and poetry as a means of communicating to everybody as one. View the works and meet the artist on February 6th, from 10 am to 10 pm.
