Adrian Paci: The guardians
This exhibition by Adrian Paci develops through Chiostri di Sant’Eustorgio Museum, inside the Cappella Portinari and towards the Paleochristian Cemetery an artistic analysis dealing with traveling and discovering relationships with places, especially dealing with migrations, which allow us to imagine new ways of living, of creating relationships and of producing artistic imaginaries. Doing this, Paci pays attention to social dynamics and moreover to gestures’ meanings.
Curator Gabi Scardi stated, “For Adrian Paci art is a search for meaning induced by inner necessity, and an active way of thinking about contemporary life. In his work there are the observation of the social dynamics, a focus on the symbolic density of gestures and an interest in alternative interpretations of the images that comes from his knowledge of the history of art”.
