Alberto Garutti: First time

Monopoli Gallery presents an important feature of the course of works by Alberto Garutti in the the ’70s.
The work of Garutti are characterized mainly for the emotional and intellectual density that makes it, immediately, a special case.
It is evident, that technical approach on photography is not important for Garutti that raises the question of space as essentially existential measure, not physical: this is the physiological condition of perception.

There are “little stories”, where it is not important the place of the story but the condensation of a sequence of states and soul warnings where the primary code of the photo makes the author, not to see but a vision, in a richly ambiguous condition and capable of meaning.
The announcement of Garutti that will have a level of complexity and maturity is quite clear.
That is evident in very large paintings and inks of the time, immediately produced in the early 80s.
