Arev Petrosyan: To Fly

Born in Armenia, Arev Petrosyan is an abstract decorative painter. She is best known for her large-scale, dramatic, compelling, powerful and passionate paintings of gold leafs and mixed media on Plexiglas. She has exhibited throughout the region and abroad and is collected by national and international institutions among them The State Contemporary Art Museum, The State National Gallery of Armenia, Palais de l’Europe, Strasbourg. Arev Petrosyan is the author of the renowned stained glass painting “The Power of Unity” permanently displayed  in the Assembly Hall of PACE (22 square meters) and presented to the Council of Europe by the Armenian Presidency in 2013.
