Armin Boehm: Mesmerized

During Miart 2019, Carnelutti Law Firm, based in Milan, hosts the exhibition dedicated to the German artist Armin Boehm. “Mesmerized” includes several large-scale canvases by the artist, inspired by the most compelling issues of contemporary society expressed through vivid colours reminiscent of expressionist painting of the 20s. The oneiric and imaginary figures which inhabit his paintings are drawn from collective visions and fears but also from the artist’s personal dreams, to reflect upon the current status of things. Scenes of our political present, abstract landscapes, grotesque portraits and still lifes constitute the subjects of Boehm’s works, exhibited throughout the rooms of the firm.
