Cahiers d’Art: From Calder to Sugimoto

The show is featuring a series of limited editions published by Cahiers d’Art. The works on show will be those by Alexander Calder, William Kentridge, Per Kirkeby, Robert Longo, Thomas Schütte and Hiroshi Sugimoto.

Founded in 1926 by Christian Zervos, Cahiers d’Art encompasses a publishing house, a gallery, and a revue. Between the 1920s and the mid-1970s, Cahiers d’Art published ninety-seven issues of the Cahiers d’Art Revue and more than fifty books on fine art and architecture as well as the catalogue raisonné of Pablo Picasso in thirty-three volumes. Since its relaunch in 2012, Cahiers d’Art has published several revues and art books. It has concurrently hosted exhibitions as well as publishing limited editions by a number of internationally renowned artists.
