With over 100 works, the exhibition “Canova, Hayez, Cicognara. The last glory of Venice” celebrates the bicentennial of the foundation of the Gallerie dell’Accademia, a special moment in the artistic history of the Serenissima,  which recalls that season of cultural revival of the city promoted by the three intellectuals starting from 1815 with the return from Paris of the four horses of San Marco, symbolic work of Venice.
